THE MUSIC PAVILION
In the centre of this garden is an octagonal music pavilion topped with a cedar shingle roof. A metal finial representing a “bellflower” adorns the roof.
The pavilion is intended to accommodate six musicians. Its interior is furnished with a central lectern fitted with holes to hold candles. Raised using pulleys, it transforms into a candlestick. The interior finish of the pavilion, in yellow birch, as well as the shape of the roof provide remarkable acoustics.
